Q: What is X Timesheet?
A: X Timesheets is an easy to use, web timesheet management system. It’s simple – your staff can enter their timesheets, anywhere and anytime, via the web or mobile app. All you need is a computer or mobile device, and access to the Internet. 


Q: Why should I use X Timesheet over other timesheet available in market?
A: X TimeSheet allows professional delivery of services to your clients and peace of mind for you. Its advance tools help you focus more on your business and less on IT. The application provides interface for Administrators, managers and General Users. X Timesheets is so easy to use that it requires no formal end-user training. 

Q: Is there is a limit to the number of Clients, Member or Projects we can create in X Timesheet?
A: X Timesheet has no limit on the number of clients or Project records you can create.

Q: Do I have to create a Task to post a Timesheet Entry?
A:Yes you need to specify an Activity in task and relate it to project then you can make entry against it in timesheet entry module.

Q: How do I demo X Timesheet?
A: If you would like to demo X Timesheet, Go to register on our website (http://xtimesheet.com), and fill out the registration form. You will be asked to fill some basic information. When we will receive your submission details we will activate your free trial. You will be notified via email.


Q: How does the trial demo last?
A: Our Timesheet app is free to use for up to 5 users. So it will  work for any period of time.


Q: Will I be automatically billed at the end of the trial?
A:  No,  we must receive message from you that you wish to continue using our service. You have to activate your account at the end of the free version. Otherwise your account is made inactive.
 

Security

Q: How much secure is X Timesheet and where does my data reside?
A: All customer data is safely stored at the Xtimesheet Database, which has backup ability. Please read our privacy policy for more details.

Q:Who can approve a Timesheet Entry?
A:Approval Managers / Administrators will only be able to approve the hours of the members Timesheet.    

             
Q:What is Timesheet approval Process?
A:There is a checkbox the Approval manager needs to check it to approve the timesheet.  

                                             
Q:Why not able to view all Projects / Task Type in Time Entry?
A:1. Projects managers / members can only able to view their assigned Projects / Tasks.
    2. Administrator is the only person who can view all Projects / Tasks assigned to all users. 

Q: How often do you back up the data in your system?
A: We back up the data several times throughout the day.    

                                                                                                  
Q: What is SSL and what does it do for me and my system?
A: SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer, and it provides secure connections for you and your employees while submitting data. While using SSL is more secure, the user will notice a slower Xtimesheet user experience.  

              
Q: Do I have the option to require SSL for individual users?
A: Yes, At this time you may only choose to have SSL required for all employees in your company using Xtimesheet. 

Pricing/Costs

Q: How much does X Timesheet Costs?
A:You can check out our pricing plans on our Pricing page. There is nominal startup fee for the pro version of our app service and a month-to-month subscription.

 
Q: Why are “cookies” calculated?
A: You have to enable cookie  to continue to sign in to our service. the session will not log in if the cookies are disabled. For more information about cookie use please read our Privacy policy.  

                                                            
Q: I want to set X Timesheet up on our local server. Is this possible?
A: No, You can’t host XTimesheet app on your local server.    

                                                                                                 
Q: Who sets up the information(employees, clients, projects, tasks and divisions)?
A: Person(s) designated as the company admistrator(s), manager(s) enter the information.

                                           
Q: Can we import our data into X Timesheet, for example, our employees and previous time data?

A: We are able to import timesheet data as on  an as-quoted basis.  

                                                                                    
Q: How can I access timesheet approvals and expense tracking?
A: Xtimesheet app comes with some predefined roles approval manager being one of them.

A: Invoicing feature will be  added shortly.


Exporting Data/Accounting System Integration   

Q: Can Xtimesheet integrate into my existing billing or accounting  system?
 A: Coming soon,Xtimesheet product road map contains integration with MS CRM and SharePoint This feature is already in development. To know more write to us on Xtimesheetsupport.

                                                                        
Q:  Does Xtimesheet export to QuickBooks?
A:  X Timesheet export to QuickBooks is under development and is coming soon.                                                              

Q:  How much data can I export at a time?
A: Export feature is available on Xtimesheet app. All you have to do is open Xtimesheet mobile app, locate Export tab and tap on export. Specify the time period for the export.
